SGX Runtime License

The SGX Runtime is distributed under a pre-agreed Software License Agreement between Speech Graphics Ltd and the licensee. Your license entitles you to a specific number of concurrent SGX Runtime Compiler instances running at any given time.

With an evaluation or purchase of SGX Runtime, you will receive a license file (.lic) that provides credentials to our cloud-based license server. It requires an active internet connection to contact the license server. You will also have to open two network ports, which will be specified when you receive the license file.

Note that the license file only applies to the SGX Runtime Compiler which is used to compile source files during development. The SGX Runtime API, which is embedded into the game or game engine and is used to play back the data that the SGX Runtime compiler generates, does not use the license file.

Please see the “Running the Compiler” section in the SGX Runtime Compiler chapter for details on how to install the license.
